Hello, colleagues. In the second half of this summer, I plan to present a simplified model of the decoder, specifically for private users. The price of the decoder will be only slightly more than half the price of the current my equipment. I calculate set price with several transponders will be no more than 500 EUR.
Prototypes are already built and working perfectly. I am now testing and making enclosures.
Sorry for my English.

Our standard decoder has all the features you could possibly need. If he is missing something, give me an idea - I will try to fulfill it :-) (Except "pure" RC4 decoding:-) )
The Mini timing system, compared to the current one, will not have several functions:
There will be no Ethernet port - the system is aimed for the private user or very small club,
There will be no Bluetooth audio transmitter,
There will be no integrated internal battery,
LCD screen without backlight (because it does not fit into the housing) and a few more non-essential functions.
Shorter and cheaper (5 meters) coaxial cable in standard complete set.
There will be no artificial restrictions, no subscriptions.
Connection via USB / Wifi interfaces, 5V power supply from the included PSU or from the computer (if the computer power supply unit does not make noise).
The same superior sensitivity.
I want to note - that a properly installed system does not miss laps.
Best regards from Lithuania!

Our Vostok decoder does skip laps where the MyLaps decoder didnt, the manual even says that about 3% transponders do skip. We run in a sports hall each month so the loop is setup for each meeting and some meetings are better than others depending on placement but not had a meeting yet where there was no skips, in the 3 years prior on the MyLaps, we had one bad meeting on the MyLaps due to a really bad loop placement but other than that, never a skip. We lent the Vostok to another club for the summer which is a permanent track and it does skip laps with them too, where it never did on their previous MyLaps. I dont think its that we havent installed it properly.
The new decoder does sound good. I'm sure a lot of smaller clubs will take a chance at that price.

Hello!
Our new Mini decoder project is finished. The first small series has already been produced :-)
USB interface,
Wifi interface,
Detection loop for tracks up to 5 width,
5m long coaxial cable,
1pcs Mini transponder,
Decoder requires 5V 0,6A DC USB power from wall adapter or your power bank (if power bank not emitting noises)
This is all, what you need, for use timing system directly out of the box in your backyard. Enjoy!
Best regards from Lithuania!

I ordered the mini system. I couldn't believe how small the decoder is (about the size of an iPhone)! I run a racing league for kids mainly racing 1/10 electric onroad (Touring). I've used the system for one full race now, and it performed beautifully. Our track is not permanent, so I had the loop fixed to a bridge about 15" above the start finish line. I was prepared to make it lower, but the system is sensitive enough that I had no problems raising the loop. Granted, the kids aren't going super fast, I upgraded from the Ir system because the Ir was missing laps. I didn't miss one lap with the Vostok system. In my former life, I ran some of the biggest nitro races in the U.S., so I was very much accustomed to the MyLaps system. With only one race under my belt with the Vostok mini, I'm ready to say that it's every bit as good. For those wondering, I used the system with Next Level timing software on a Mac laptop. Also, the manufacturer was super easy to work with, he shipped it quickly and I have no complaints at all.
