It is not a rebranded Hobbywing, at least to my knowledge. The software is for sure different from the hobbywing.

Also Can some one help me with gearing of that motor and timing or a ball part would also help me a lot I am running 25.5 tc on a track 88x50 med bite crc black carpet track. . also does the new helix motor's coming out in 25.5.
Thank you

It takes months to get Roar to test anything...complete crapshoot on timeframe...even Fantom won't know.

The new exalt motors, motiv motor and reedy motors have been approved in a pretty quickly timeframe. Why hasn't the Helix 25.5 motor been approved in over a year? I doubt the problem is a ROAR holdup...

from what I understand they won't be sending this motor to roar what so ever. The next generation of motors for 25.5 will be sent, this is because 25.5 might become the new stock class for on road TC racing. I have a Helix 25.5 team edition and took the gamble on them sending this motor to roar. I have a HW in my chassis now to be legal at ROAR events and use the Helix at club tracks. Also If anyone needs help with gearing for the helix I am able to help.

Hi! Almost all Fantom motors and rotors are out of stock everywhere and they have been out of stock for a while. Anyone know what the hold up is? Are they releasing a new “ver 2” of their Helix RS?

I have another 21.5t on order and keen to know when they will be back in stock.

IDK what you're talking about, the 7.0 I've had my eye on is in stock. Though thats a good guess if you want some sort of stock motor. They have had a lot of sales lately.

I just picked up a 21.5T Helix Rs motor, has anyone done any load testing to see where the sweet spot on timing is for these motors?

It would depend upon the rotor.

It has the red rotor. I measured the gauss to be 1790-1800 for both poles.

What is the temp ratings for the rotor and stator? It just says "Heat resistant formula" on the website. There are wire enamels and different grades of neodymium magnets with different temperature ratings?

Keeping 160* or less would be ideal for any motor.
