Got mine.

I'll be installing the new helix sometime this weekend or during the week.

update: found someone who had a soldering iron. Motor has been installed and has a first run on it. On an Xray X4, with a spur of 88t and pinion of 50t, it hit 53 deg C. with a bit over 17k rpm.

So what are you all finding is the sweet timing spot and initial gearing (FDR works fine) on these Helix Spec motors for 17.5 and 13.5 buggy classes, 2wd and 4wd respectively?

Has anyone tried the super d servos? Interested in grabbing one of the low profile ones.

Still finding that out. My helix, and another person's helix had wildly different timings out of the box. Mine was set to 54 degrees, and the other was around 27 degrees. It might be hard to pin down this time around.
