Sooooo true. Both Nobles, with their GUI interface, are considerably more advanced than the 4PM/7PX interface. I've considered selling my 7PX, and replacing it with the Noble Pro, but I don't want two 'primary' radios that look identical. However, I do find myself using the NB4 more & more with new vehicles, instead of the 7PX.

Just talked to someone at our track that had the screen go blank. He had to take it apart. The plug to the screen was not fully mated. He put on some dielectric grease and plugged it back in. No iassues after that.

Thankfully, there IS a 'workaround', as discovered by WTF RC Cars. If you go to the 5:30 mark in the linked video, he'll walk you through fixing the problem. In short, the 'solution' is to change the Tx/Rx setting from "2-way", to "1-way". While this does eliminate the ability to use telemetry, it also prevents the Rx from 'talking' to the Tx.
Flysky Noble pro v3 firmware update blocking Dasmikro DM racing receiver workaround
I've been considering selling my NB4, and replacing it with the Noble Pro. When I saw the notification on my phone, all I could see regarding this video was "Flusky Noble pro v3 firmware blocking Dasmikro", and I instantly began to wonder if my sell-buy plan was a good one (all three of my Mini-Zs running HW Mini28 ESCs are using DasMikro receivers). Thankfully, it appears I have nothing to worry about...and, for those of you with the Noble Pro & non-FlySky receivers, you, too, have nothing to worry about.

I have the Pro and have absolutely ZERO regrets selling my NB4 months after picking up the Pro. The new "V3" firmware is phenomenal! Only bugs people have found so far are with some letters showing wonky.
As far as Dasmikro, I had 2 of them when I had my NB4 and I ended up burning one up when trying to update it and the other died after several months use. Given the price of the Flysky receivers and especially the new enhanced versions, I saw ZERO reason to buy the DasMikro as it's not like it's they are massively cheaper than OEM. Good riddance in my book.

Getting back to FlySky, I have an NB4, and am probably going to replace it (within the next few paychecks) with the Pro. This is NOT because I feel the NB4 is "bad", but because my 'needs' have changed/increased, and, while the NB4 can still meet the great majority of those needs, I believe the Noble Pro will provide me better options. Plus, the Pro wasn't yet available (although, along with the features & price, had been announced). Alternately, instead of selling the NB4, I might sell my Futaba 7PX, get the Noble Pro, and keep the NB4...honestly, I haven't decided. On a side note, I also have a GT3C (dedicated to non-race boats).
Hopefully, this helps you. The price between the NB4 & Pro is a considerable one (tho, you can find the Pro for MUCH lower prices if you order from an Asian vendor, and don't mind waiting at least a few (probably several) weeks for it to be delivered), which is why I suggest you really consider your wants/needs, and compare them against the features/functions of each. Doing that should better equip you to make your own determination.

For the "price point", the FlySky Noble NB4 & Noble Pro are probably two of the best. To decide which might be 'better' for you, it's best if you research the features/functions of each, and make that determination on your own...ask in here, and you'll probably find a 50/50 split, with each person providing very valid reasons why one is better (for them) than the other. The truth is, they are both great. Another great option, and within the same price range, is the RadioLink RC8X. This also provides features/functions similar to the Noble 'twins'...but, having one feature that neither of the Noble units have - it has a DSC port with TBS Crossfire functionality. To most, this probably means nothing...but, to those with (or interested in) speedrun cars, this feature is a HUGE advantage over almost any other 'trigger' Tx (it's far more common in aerial radios), as the distance one can control their vehicle (with a Crossfire attached) might blow your mind. And, yes, I WILL be getting one of these, and it will be 100% dedicated to my speedrun cars...nothing else.

Also, it will have continued support...that's the biggest thing. You mention the 'new' firmware. When was the last time FlySky pushed out a firmware update for the NB4? It's been 15 months. It's safe to say, even IF any further updates come for the NB4, they will be very minor. I'm not saying FlySky has 'abandoned' the NB4...but, the level of support it's receiving had been greatly diminished.
The primary point I was making in my initial post...and, the point you seem to have missed...is that, in regards to the person who initially asked (and, moving forward, anyone who is undecided) about which to get, that is a decision only that person can make. BOTH units - NB4 & Pro - are good, and BOTH are worth considering. For each person, that individual can realize that one will better suit his/her needs, whichever 'one' that is...and, ONLY that person can make that decision.

Those aren't the only differences. The Pro also has a faster processor, and twice the storage, the ability to save a lot more vehicles, as well as multiple included tuning option parts (different triggers, different springs, etc. While the NB4 came with a few additional parts, the Pro includes several more. There are a few other difference, and anyone interested can research those, and compare for themselves.

My noble has been acting up lately, it keeps vibrating on the driver stand, and since I race nitro I can't freaking hear what the voice prompt is saying, but it appears the RX battery goes from FULL GREEN to RED X. I thought it was my transmitter battery, but it was fully charged, and show it's fully charged on the screen. I think it's either signal loss which is weird cause when it happens normally I am in the middle of the track, and it was working fine before. The antenna is inside the receiver box, and I am running the enhanced receiver. The receiver is only a few races old, and the battery is new. I tried switching out the receiver pack, but the transmitter still continues to vibrate, I think it is saying signal lost, but again I have a hard time hearing it with the nitro engines around. I checked my connections, and I didn't see any issues there. I might try to swap out the receiver with my other enhanced one. Does this thing vibrate when signal is lost? I don't see any mention of this in the manual.

As a side note, the fact that the NB4 hasn't received an update in 15ish months does not make it irrelevant or old. For some reason, Flysky is held to a standard that other name brand radios aren't. When was the last time Spektrum, Futaba, Sanwa, KO Pro Po, Hitec, etc updated their firmware, if ever in some cases, yet those some of those radios are pushed in forums as being the very best. It's laughable. Flysky introducing something unheard to the surface scene, which is regular radio updates, has now become a sign of "Flysky doesn't care" or the radio is "old" when they have the radio firmware perfect and bug free so no futher updates are even needed. You can't win.
