Only to see Futaba do something as they always do discontinue a model within a short time. and bring out a more expensive model. All I need is GPS and rx voltage and the Hitec rx has it built right in. NO extra cost!
Maybe you shouldn't be lending your "expertise" on a thread they are specifically asking about FUTABA radio (which costs $800) that they already own.

And again you forget you are on a for a most part racers forum. Racers have a different need than a basher. I do own a Futaba T7xc, that is also a 700+ dollar transmitter. And yes, for a part I am a Futaba fan because in all the years I have used Robbe/Futaba, they never let me down. But for a part I also want quality and reliability. And racers do buy Sanwa, KO or Futaba because those brands provide a super response mode while most cheap transmitters still hang on to the old 50Hz framerate, even the highly advised Sperktrum transmittters do not even have a super response mode.
The only transmitter that can compete with the expensive transmitters is the Flysky Noble which is more shown on the races..
