Hiya all , forgive me for not reading through all pages of this thread , it has probably been covered but for those with servo issues , the nb4 has individually adjustable delay rates( channel speeds) for all channels and in some instances this can be enabled by default . It's worth going into it and checking that they are all set to 0.0s ( unless you want delays ) .
sorry if this has been covered before😘

Pretty sure default is 0.0. It's easy to check them in the menu if you want, but not likely needed.

I am trying to use the Flysky assistant to export my model memories so that I can update the firmware version. Unfortunately, I am getting connection issues. The transmitter is connected but no details of the hardware shows up in the assistant. Have a look at my screen below. Refreshing the model did not help. Help ! The assistant version is V3.0.4

transmitter is connected

No hardware details

You probably solved this by now but what firmware are you currently on? It could be the firmware you are on is too old to work with the new assistant tool so you may need to update to the current FW first despite the fact that you will loose your model setups.

Is anyone have an issues not binding or has noticed that the rxs are different from Amazon and eBay from when you purchased the remote from HobbyKing or an RX from HobbyKing?

There are literally 3 different NB4/RX packages you can get depending on the vender. Amain usually sells the "mini z" RX setup, HobbyKing usually sells the setup that includes 2xFGr4S and Amazon/Banggood/Hobbymate/Everyone else sells the package that includes 1xFGr4S and 1xFGr4 V2.

As far as binding, make sure the RX is running, at minimum, firmware 2.0.93. You can use/download Flysky's stand alone RX updater which makes the process easier. Beginning from firmware 2.0.93, you no longer NEED to update the RX firmware after updating the radio firmware.

Also note that when running in "1 Way Mode" you'll get zero feedback as to whether your bind was successful. I've seen people make the mistake of thinking their bind has failed because they didn't get telemetry feedback telling them that the radio/RX is bound when running in this mode. "1 Way Mode" is just that, one way communication between the radio/RX for the added latency bump. "2 Way, 2 Channel" mode is shockingly fast and is very noticeable from "2 Way, 4 Channel" mode.

The usual places like Amazon, Hobby King, Norcal Hobbies (never purchased personally but they have a good rep), etc. Hobby King definitely won't provide the same super easy return process Amazon has but they will have a better price coming from the US warehouse......whenever they restock.

I run my nitros in "2 way, 2 channel" mode to monitor my RX lipos and the response is fantastic. I think the best receiver to get is the FGr4B because it's an enhanced RX.

Advantages of the FGr4B receivers are:
-Small size yet still has antenna
-No bind plug needed, has bind button
-External battery monitor built in
-Ability to set frequency on a per channel bases versus having one frequency set to all channels like almost any other RX.

I just bought mine from Banggood.com. They were having a sale + coupon got me the radio for about $190 shipped. At checkout, it said shipping would be 3-4 weeks for "Banggood Express" shipping from China to Texas, but I got it in a week. I have bought a bunch of stuff thru banggood, and never had an issue that I could not get resolved. Sometimes it does take 3-5 emails and a youtube video, though.
