Just a minor correction. You guys are talking about track, not wheel base. I know because I've made that same error many times!

Sits well for me, If you run a narrow USGT body it might make a difference, I using a Exotek Type A body so there is plenty of clearance for the wheel.

Yep, correct. For some reason, wheelbase has seemed to become synonymous with a measurement of all 4 wheels, most of the time I just roll with it and ask for front to back or side to side measurement haha. It's easier than correcting them for it and saves time not having to explain the difference at the track.

But I am very curious if the rim offsets are different.

So the new wheels have a +2 offset? That's actually the opposite of what I suspected....figured they would be narrower and causing the rim to rub.

Isn't + offset toward the center? and - outward? or is this backwards in RC?

Yeah, you're right, was mathematizing sdrawkcab.

So +2 shims on each side brings it back to the track width with the old rims and should fix any rubbing. Hope that hex is deep haha

Sent a message to Paul to get the lowdown on the new rims. The old wheel is 7mm from face of wheel to hex, new wheel is 6.7. That’s it’s. It is only .3mm difference.

That seems a little more realistic to me.

Is there a logo or branding mark commonly associated with the USGT rule set? Perhaps an SVG version of the stylized 'USGT' found printed on the Gravity RC motors? Wanting to use the logo on a body I'm prepping.

What is a good starting FDR for the Gravity Spec motor. Running it for the first time on Parking Lot Asphalt. Fairly open track layout with 80-90' Backstraight.
