My Shimo II carb tuned ended at .43 running Energy 25x. Motor seems smooth with good top end. Only downside was the piston / sleeve fitment was a bit loose to start & break-in was fast. I see how long this motor lasts!

I still havnt ran mine. Did you adjust the mid from factory?

I did not, I generally don't touch the mid / mixture needle - it stays flush. I just focus on the high & low speed needles with the current OS on road motors.

Als long you can understand the mid range needle is just a 2nd low speed needle you can play with it. Screwing the one in and the other the same amount out will not change the LSN setting but it does change the position of the nozzle within the airflow of the carburator. Sometimes with adjusting it you can notice a faste revving up engine.
