Is there any planned release date for this radio yet?

Also all the extra channels are for the Crawler and custom guys. allows them flexibility in a pistol grip rather than going to a 2 stick transmitter.

Interested to find out what kind of negative people mentioned with Futaba system as well.

Regarding the 4G marketing Futaba pushed out. Im pretty sure it just means the radio it self have cellular connection and has nothing to do with the frequency signal is transmitted from the tx to the rx. This mean the radio is most likely to have an Android system like the spektrum radio, for telemetry, data recording, live updates etc etc...i guess we have to wait and see

with the failure of the Spektrum model I would highly doubt they would go and do that.

Well for one thing, Futaba isnt Spektrum, so I have confidence that Futaba wouldnt screw up as bad as Spektrum did if they do push out an Android based system. Its all speculation right now, just gotta wait and see what Futaba releases.

Android wouldn't make a great platform for a radio that needs to be extremely low latency. It's not a real-time operating system.

Most of the time when such an OS is used it is only ffor the interface that programs the parameters into the transmitter part running an own OS.

4G is specifically referring to the connection from the transmitter to the receiver. I guarantee it isn't going over cellular.

Where did you see this information. I highly doubt it will be cellular communication to the Receiver. you would then have basically unlimited range.

OK, so the 4G is the new used protocol as current systems are S-FHSS and T-FHSS. It has noting to do with the 4G cellular phone network than the communication technology is used but it can also be a 4th genration although from PPM, PCM, HRS, FASST, S/T-FHSS you can not see this new one as a 4th one.

Is this getting released this year?

It says "New Product 2021" on the teaser image.
