Dear Xrayray

Is moparSRT a Xpress dealer ?

Dear Bsthetech

Thank you for the message. I am from the USA living in Mexico City during COVID-19. A few weeks ago I went to the local park and they were having an RC completion, I thought it would be nice to get involved and start building cars.

The next club race is in December. I have tried contacting the club and local hobby shops with no luck.

Cheers

Dear skimax
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photo!

I am torn, I would love to say that I could do the same, but looking at the complexity of the chassis is overwhelming.

Cheers

I am also looking for a budget touring car, one I can use at home and run some laps at the track just for fun.
I was thinking about getting a kit kyosho Fazer mk2 before coming across this thread.

What is a reputable site to get an Execute XQ2S?
Also I have seen several people mention sway bars are required too, does the car not come with them?

Rcmart is great for international orders. Depending on your country there might be better options.

Sway bars are a nice tuning option but they're not actually required. It doesn't come with them

Michaels RC Hobbies, the staff is always helpful with answers/information, they’ll call you directly with any order issues/delays.

It is a little overwhelming at first but just follow the manual and it will all make sense. Soon you'll be able to rebuild it in your sleep.

Hi All,
Thank you for your feedback and encouragement !

I am from the USA living in Mexico City during COVID-19. A few weeks ago I went to the local park and they were having an RC completion, I thought it would be nice to get involved and start building cars.

The next club race is in December, outdoors on asphalt. I have tried contacting the club and local hobby shops with no luck.

Would like to spend about $400 complete to get started. Please correct me, but a used 2018 or newer Xray T4 will be more than about $150. Maybe it makes sense to wait until the Xray X4 comes out in a few weeks and see about the prices of 2018 and newer Xray T4. The photo by @skimax is so impressive to me, it is clear that the Xray is a very well-made car.

1. Xpress Execute XQ2S 1/10 Sport, fiberglass chassis, Touring Car Kit ($119)(Can be converted to mid-motor) VOTES 5
2. Used Xray T4 2018 or newer $200 (?) VOTES 3
3. 3Racing Sakura Advance S 6/4 1/10, fiberglass chassis, Touring Car Kit ($89) VOTES 2
4. SNRC R2 and R3 VOTES 2
5. Used Associated TC7 VOTES 2
6.
Xpress Execute XQ10 VOTES 1
6. Carten T410R VOTES 1

(plus the cost of Motor, ESC, Radio, Servo, Charger, Battery, Body)

Thank you!
Cheers

Hi All,

Any feedback on the Sakura Advance S 6/4 Touring Car Combo ? The price seems excellent, seems like a cheap way to check out if hobby hold my attention.
  • Speed Passion V3.0 Comp BL Motor; 8.5T - 1,100 HK ($141usd plus shipping)
  • Speed Passion V3.0 Comp BL Motor; 17.5T - 880 HK ($113 usd plus shipping)
Both include;

  • Speed Passion Reventon S ESC
