yes I smashed mine pretty hard couple of times too, actually just noticed my driveshaft is bent while I was installing sway bar kit. So, r3g being 108$ on alliexpres I think I will just order another kit and have all parts ready. I tried making backup parts cart on blazerc.com and after I was done, I was at 80-90$, so buying another whole car for ~20$ more seems like better idea.

The downside of low-cost chassis that has a lot of aluiminum is that they use a lower grade alloy that's just weaker than what you see on more expensive kits. They might bend in a hard crash and it may be hard to notice where exactly.
IMO it's much better to have plastic than a low grade aluminum alloy, even more if one crashes a lot. They won't look as good, but also won't be as frustrating.

Dear tak4 ,
How are you ? Yesterday I received the XQ2S and started to purchase the electronics. In the process of rereading the thread refound your post, thank you! Lots of good information.
Can you recommend an inexpensive low-profile servo ?
I am planning on the XR10 Justock 21.T.
I searched and was not able to find a clone of the ZooRacing DogsBollox
Cheers

For the question about the clone bodies... they are not easily found actually. We are fortunate that the LHS has a direct connection to the factory producing the bodies so they are quite easily available. One body is about RM80 to RM120 or about $20 to 30 USD. This is how they are sold.
