Given this is pretty much a dead class, don't expect a lot of effort from Xray on it.

Most likely the latest X12 bits bolted to a bigger chassis....

Depends on where. WGT-R is pretty big in the great lakes region.

That is fine by me. The x12 '21 is really nice. Plus we might get a restock of parts.

I believe the manufacturers are going to try to push this class and revive it at the demise of probably F1 which has been in a downturn. seems all the classes tend to go in cycles with the exception of the base touring classes .xpress has a car coming out I can't tell if it's a 10th scale pan car or what it'll be released in September sometime. There are so few young people coming into the hobby I think the manufacturers are trying to revive classes that will appeal to the older generation of racers to keep their revenue streams up. This is my opinion what do you guys think?

I don't honestly see the point now that rubber 1/12 tires are now available for the GT12 class. I liked WGTR and had an X10 for a while because 5 or 6 guys said they had WGT-R cars but never showed up with them.

Last winter season at my local track, the 12GT(Rubber) and WGTR averaged to be about the same attendance. Interestingly enough many of the drivers ran both classes.

Not sure how big it is, but is it really relevant to the world market?

Obviously it's relevant enough to fire up the machines and make a run of kits.
Maybe they will make it so it can be converted to PRO10 which seems to also be a thing. ... Or maybe the X4 with be a PRO10 and the X10 and X4 will share parts.
