Default Outdoor asphalt traction compound / tire sauce

I Need some help.

I am gonna be running USGT outdoors on a newly paved track. It is gonna be in the high 80's to low 90s or so every day, with mild chances of T-storms.

the track is uncovered.

I am flying into this event, and have never run at this track before.

what is going to be a good sauce to have in my bag?

PS - I happen to have a 20 year old can of Paragon Ground Effects. Any good?

Paragon Ground Effects always works well. You can also use Paragon FXII. But my favorite for USGT tires is Trinity Red Dot. I get it directly from Trinity because his shipping is the lowest.

Thank you

I am used to using SXT 3.0 on my VTA tires-- indoor CRC black carpet. Put it on 5 mintues or so before a race & then wipe down right after tech.

Is the process any different for the Red Dot or Paragon?

I just put it on and let it soak for 30 minutes or so then wipe it off right before I go out.

Nice paint job. Mighty Gripper (blue or yellow) if you can find it.

Thanks folks

A local fast guy at my indoor track recommended SG yellow as well, but I couldn't find any, domestically.

I have the Trinity on its way.

Did paragon fix their sauces to remove all the cancer related products?

Probaby not. But if you check the packaging of many food and drink products in California, you'd find many of those companies haven't either.

Off topic but companies can get fined for not disclosing prop 65 warnings. However there is not a governing body to dictate if a prop 65 warning is needed. Thus there is a number of companies applying warnings that are not needed.

Far fewer things than before those warnings, funnily enough, whether you're in California or not. You're welcome
