I did end up with the "A" steering in it. Took some work to make it fit. It gave me tighter steering in the 180" corners. I think the ".2" is more for fixing some issues with strength. Main driving changes are the front hubs and solid support for the rear shocks in the front of the rear arms.
Did you notice a need to change spring or shock oil in the rear switching to the forward mounted shocks?

Depends on the track, but I have been on the same track and layout, and I switched to the .2 pistons. It is a lot smoother, for me. I also went down in the rear sway bar and springs for more of a rotation in the tighter turns. Overall, .2 setup stock to stock, feels more responsive in turn section.

I have their sct conversion. I added a stick pack and finishing up a few things. Tightens up the front a bit, yet offers flex as well. Best I can relate is when the top brace was offered for the Yokomo 870c. I think the prostar piece is more of a tuning aid.

I ran a et410/Cobra chassis SCT for a long time. Never ran a special middle brace, it rocked. The new Prostar SCT is better, as you can switch to front or rear bias. I thing the Prostar middle brace looks cool, but don't feel it is a must have. Maybe a big outdoor track, with monster power? I have not tried that yet. This year, my track is pretty limited with the plague. So SCT has been dead. I do love the et410.2 updates on it though. 3.5 hinge pins. Rear aluminum brace on the bulkhead, good stuff.

I just installed the 3.5 pins, and that is a must do on this rig. As I pulled out the old front arms and pins, sure enough the pins were all bent up. Part #'s are TKR 6544B, 7225B, and 6523. Not to expensive, and easy to do. I bought mine from AMain and used their box to prop it up, how cool is that! Took 15-20 minutes. Those 3 mm are just to weak for this little beast.

Thinking of adding truggy to run indoor 4wd truggy on foams. Anyone have an idea on what the normal product release cycle is for Tekno? I don't really want to buy something that is going to have a new version out in the next 2 months.

Highly doubtful any updates to the ET410.2 anytime soon. it just came out last summer (2020).

Thank you. That is very helpful. Should be at least a year. Tempting to pick one up.

Important upgrades to get?

What are the "necessary" hop up parts I should order? I bought one today on an impulse with a coupon.

I think the aluminum servo horn and aluminum shock caps are essential. The rest are just for show. After a month I stop at bag L cause it was a lot of work putting it together. So tired..

Tired due to covid or life?

Is it reasonable to change to 48p spurs?
