80 amp esc help

Default 80 amp esc help

hey all I picked up a off brand 80 amp esc the paper work on the esc say's not to use 3.1 default cut off non protection.. the program card has 3.1 2.9 and 2.7so which one should I use?

2.9 then get a battery buzzer in the correct voltage you want your lipos be at

If it says cut off "non protection", I'm assuming this means that it's disabled/turned off. Voltage selection wouldn't matter then. (jmo)

yes it say's non protection default 3.1 v so I guess at 3.1 there is no lvc?

will you post a link or pic of the manual? I'd like to see how the wording is expressed visually, perhaps in a chart? Could be Chinglish issue where they might be missing a comma, if so, then LVC may be disabled by default, and they might be recommending 3.1V instead.

Non protection is just one of the settings. The 3.1v cut off is default.

i know this 3.1 is non preotection so i dont use the 3.1 ? right? go with 2.9?

No, he means non protected is a option to select, and 3.1 is another and how it is set to from the factory. 2 different settings.

not sure why you think the 3.1 v setting is not protected .. Its the wording from there language to english... so it has all those voltage listed they are protected . but it does have a non-protection mode.

set it to 3.1 you will be safe
