I have posted here some of my concerns/disappointment with the new ProStar ET210 Short Course Truck (SCT) conversion kit, one being the lack of tabs for the rear droop screws. I sent ProStar a detailed email documenting those concerns and recommendations for making their product world class like those marketed by Tekno and Team Associated - sadly to date no response! To be honest the chassis itself (other than the droop screws) is awesome offering much flexibility for my experimenting and projects - only the documentation for adding those option parts is lacking. With their lack of response, I started experimenting and found better, stronger, and simpler ways to do the Front and Rear bumpers USING MOSTLY TEKNO PARTS, and identified alternative body mounts than the option parts offered by ProStar (although the recommended Tekno SCT410.3 body mounts will work; they require extensive modification and the rear mounts after modification may not work with your SCT body).
I posted those modifications using mostlyTekno SCT410 parts on the ET410 forum. Instead of reposting them here, I just refer anyone interested to check out that forum if you want your ProStar SCT210 SCT to be TEKNO STRONG!

Just curious, I toasted a spur gear last night because I think the motor shifted slightly tightening up the mesh. I do run a fairly dusty and dirty track. Is it worth going to a 32p setup? And if so, is this the right spur gear? TKR7253

Or should I just stay with 48p?
Thanks!

I'm sure this is no news to anyone on the thread here, but this car absolutely rocks. I am running the kit box stock and the car is really impressive. Some minor tweaks need to be made but nothing major like I have experienced with other kits. Well done to the Tekno team. Looking forward to some more track days!

First time back on the track last Sunday, in 15 or so weeks. TQ'ed over about 6 of the new TLR. Yep, eb410.2 can at least stand with the big boys. Indoor high bite clay, if it matters. Stock except aluminum steering. Well, ok, over all the time off, added pucks. But not sure the pucks helped. Just wanted a bit of a diet.

Sorry if this question has been asked / answered already ...
How are the EB410.2 shocks compared to the .1 shocks?
(the .1 shocks are one of the main reasons I sold the the car)
Thanks!

I mounted my transponder in the location the manual recommends but it is driving me crazy how randomly during a race I will have missed laps. I used the transponder in my 2wd buggy without any problems before. Does mounting right to the chassis cut the signal? If so is there a better place to mount one? This is a 3 wire official AMB transponder too.

I've heard the claim that mounting the transponder on the chassis causes problems? But it has not happened to me. Another location to mount it, is double-sided tape to the Servo. Towards the front of the car, but behind the plastic guard the body velcro to. Be careful the wire does not touch the drive shaft. Either run the wire under the chassis stiffener, or use a little tie strap at the bottom of the chassis stiffener, when you go around the front.
