The build quality looks similar. Makes me wonder what other brands OEM units from AGF.

It's possible AGF makes them but worked with Team Powers on a custom design. There are a couple other rebrands of them that I know of, just can't remember them right.

Both A80BHSW servos worked great in my nitro buggy today throughout a day of racing at Thornhill.

The Bluebird BLS-30A is also still working well in my ebuggy after quite a few days of racing.

Ah I found it. The Pro Performance RC servos look very similar to The Team Powers servos.

Reve D is who I was thinking of who uses AGF for their OEM. https://www.redrc.net/2019/11/reve-d...sb-programmer/

After trying one I am convinced that their is no better servo for competition than the Pro Performance and I switched over to their equipment in all of my cars now. My lap times instantly dropped just by switching to their low profile servo. These are no ordinary servos their exclusive pcb design is no joke and I am so in tune with my cars it is unreal

Anyone that is serious about their racing needs to try their 32 BIT servos the difference on the clock is worth it alone but the support from them is better than any other company by far. I use the M17 with SXR mode and the Pro Performance Rc servos and they even helped me perform the updates to my radio

Many servos have a similar case design but can still see the differences if looking closely. It is what is inside the cases that matters along with the customer service and support for my purchases

Any of you tried JX Ecoboost servos? I'm having good luck with JX CLS servos for 40 bucks, but Ecoboost servos have amazing specs for 20 bucks

Yeah I have the 6336HV in my 1/8 truggy. Had to add a few shims to get it to fit but it has been working great for about a year now. Got it for $30 from Banggood.

I contacted the OEM and they gave me this link here for replacement gear sets for AGF servos, reasonably priced too

those gear sets are definitely affordable but they don’t look very precise

Will you please give an example of a gear set which looks more precise to you? Curious to understand what makes these lose their precision with your perception?

I've been running these servos for a while now and these are the smoothest servos I have owned to date

I clicked on your link they are a smaller pitch then others which mean less precise of a gear. Compare them closely to others above. This will give the same feeling as a higher deadband value in a servo which is less sensitivity for highly skilled racers. The servos do look great for the prices. AGF site says that they do oem/odm so I am sure they can do finer pitch gears. Just something to think about why some servos feel better on the race track then others in the right hands. I wonder what their deadband spacing is? The lowest deadband spacing I have seen in a servo is the pro performance @1us all the others @2us-4us, I look at everything when I choose a servo for my needs

Not sure I follow your train of thought, having raced on-road for many years, I have learned that racing with 64P gears was more beneficial than 48P gears to increase precision by having more FDR options to hit that sweet spot to improve efficiency. It would stand to reason that logic would carry forward with servo gears as well. Not saying that larger pitch servo gear would be less efficient, but having a smaller pitch gear could increase the opportunity to offer a wider range of efficiencies, perhaps that might be why AGF servos seem to offer the widest range of torque/speed selection than most other brands on the market right now. To me that's a win/win every which way I see it
