Default will this Receiver and ESC combo work?

I have a new (to me) Spektrun DX3R and want to get a new (unk type yet any suggestions?) brushed ESC (my motors are brushed and still good to go) will it work with my DX# receiver? I am hoping that I can get my fleet of cars , which have been parked for about 20+ years - I have a late 80's style Losi "Monster Truck" , RC10T and an old Clod Buster. New ESC's and rec would go in all these cars if this combo will work. Also will the servos also have to be changed? Thanks in advance. Vic in So Cal

^Pretty much any receiver and ESC will work together. It's the old analog servos that you have to worry about. (and old KO Propo stuff)

I recommend Hobbywing quicrun 1060. Simple and trouble-free. Just set throttle channel to reverse if necessary.

I have some old Sanwa servos from the 90s and the 3 wires are in a different sequence to modern ones, pretty sure ground is in the middle compared to modern having +ve in the middle. You may need to either put new plugs on the old servos or buy new ones (easiest and best option to buy new given how cheap servos are now)

You can also get the KO VFS esc if you want to shell out.... It's a bit of a posh affair. Or if you are really rich, Tekin FXR.
