I have a question will Associated rear 10th scale buggy rims fit the Truggy all around?

Hi TonyD. I haven't tried the Associated rear buggy rims yet. I found the following combinations from Schumacher Racing to work for me: Front - U6856 - CACTUS FUSION 1/10-FR-4WD-YELLOW-PRE-GLUED-PR / Rear - U6801 - CUT STAGGER LOW PRO-YEL-PRE-GLUED HEX(PR).

The U6835 MINI DART 1/10 - REAR - PRE-GLUED-YELLOW (PR) (rear 10th scale buggy tire) did not work due to wrong offset (inside tire edge rubbed against wing on landings.) Nevertheless I'm still searching for the right tire combination.

guys local are trying the LC racing LC12B1 tires and front and rear and appear to be liking them. rears are a bit wider than fronts.

If you really want to use 1/10 buggy tires in particular rears, the LC Racing Truggy wheels have a lot of offset and should workout.

The Micro Off road/ On Road Nats are coming up and I'm trying to decide on the Associated 14T or the Mini 8ight T. From the loooks of them the Mini 8ightT looks more like a truggy with the wheels it has. So I just don't know which one to get.

Greetings! I just got my 14T last night and within about 15 minutes of running I started hearing a weird noise. After reading this full page, it would seem like I'm having the spur/bearing issue a few others have had. I wondering if anyone has discovered a long term solution to this as I'm on the fence of trying to return and purchase something different. Also, it appears that the 70T spur gear is now discontinued.

Thanks!

I would throw in the LC Racing EMB-T into the mix as well in that group. The 14T from what I recall sizewise is basically more like the buggy blown up truggy sized wheels. the Mini 8ight-T and LC Racing EMB-T are bigger, I would think they would be more like "1/12" in size.

I got a used unit and just opened it up for inspection & diff fluid last night.

Mine definitely had a damaged bearing on the center diff as well, the one that is on the driveshaft side facing the front of the vehicle.

I can't for the life of me figure out how it broke, but I ordered a replacement. Hopefully its just a fluke.

Hey Everyone - Because the next shipment of the Mini-T 2.0 has been pushed back we felt it necessary to also push the date on the Mini Nationals back. The new date will be April 18 & 19 2020. Thank you all for understanding. Updated rules will be posted in about a week too! https://www.facebook.com/groups/564037174448740/

kenmend - i too had problems with the 58T spur. The problem seems to be the Team Associated bearings. I replaced with Duratrax 8x12 bearing (DTXC1581) and have had no issue with the 58T for past couple of weeks. Regarding the discontinued 70T, it seems to be included in Team Associated part #21527 - 1:14 Drive Gear Set (contains both 58T and 70T along with ring and pinion gears.

Check eBay. I know there were 70T spurs in the last couple weeks there. Almost ordered by accident.
