What is the best or most cost effective starting point for these minis ? I saw them at the hobby shop and one guy had a rwd and the other awd but the all wheel was still drifting corners what should I get?

The question as always is what’s the plan to use?

Yesterday we setup a mini- Laguna Seca circuit at the Murdertown club race in Delaware. The director likes to use real world circuits for inspiration of his layouts. This one was pretty fast and carried a lot of speed throughout most of the track.
Here is a pic of the layout, and a pic of my cup that I use to fill my Keurig every day.

not sure really I’d like to build a scale street race track with scale buildings and just race with buddies lol I’ll build the model from back to the future with the clock tower lmao or maybe the one from beetle juice

Now drift or race is more up to what you want to do.

I was replacing the axle for the ball diff on my MR03. Successfully removed the e-clip that goes on the axle between the bearing and the RR wheel, but launched it into oblivion when attempting to reinstall it. I was looking for the part number and/or size so I can order some, but can't seem to find it in the Kyosho paperwork. Is it a 1.5mm e-clip?

Pinion Wear
What kind of life can I expect from Mini Z pinions? I got about 500 laps of my new RCP track before the 6T bit the dust. For reference, I was using the proper mesh plates. Are there any more durable delrin or brass ones available?

PN has metal pinions. I’ve not had problems with the stocks.

When using the stock 48p differential, the PN Pro Match pinions are the best option.
in general, I avoid metal pinions. I prefer replacing pinions over spur gears.
