I know this is kind of frowned upon but I wanted to try a more traditional wing, like the ET48. So I messed around and have this set-up. So far so good. No big crashes yet tho. Also, sorry the truck isn't clean I just tried the wing at the end of practice and snapped pics when I got home. But anyways, figured I would share. I think it looks way cooler.

Not sure what wing and mounts you used. Some people have used b6 wing mounts with losi 10t wing. I also have a jamming crt .5 wing and an sworkz molded wing to try.

Did you find that this type of traditional wing set-up works better than stock? How were your lap times between the two?

I did use a B6 Wing mount, which goes on pretty smooth. I ended up finding that 1 of the wings from Redcat had the same distance on it's pre-drilled holes, so I bought that one. Looks pretty cool, I think. I was worried it might end up looking like a hack job, but I think it's pretty clean. I guess the next step will be to crash a few times and see how it holds up lol.

I don't have that info for you yet, unfortunately. Like I said, I bought the stuff at the end of practice and didn't get a solid session in with the new wing. Seems good though, but I want to get some time on it and make sure it didn't alter how the truck flies too much. I'm thinking it will be fine though, just from the quick test run.
MaX-D likes this.

Raced tonight and did alright. The first qual was rough as it was siding everywhere. I loosened the springs and it calmed right down. I am going to change the diff oil for the next race night. I am lacking power for jumps because of low traction. My B64D has no problems with the jumps, but this sure does. The positrons just did not hook up right at all. Need to know what tires are working for you, maybe slicks, ions? I have inversions on the B64D and they are hooked up. I hit pretty hard tonight so I am going to have to take the axle rods out for a look.

Positrons are really hit or miss for me, on this truck. I have been running Dirtwebs recently and they have been a little more consistent. But some nights the Positrons work great. Kinda weird.

dislike the body very much so I ordered a leadfinger one which in my opinion looks way better than stock.

Those are pretty light diffs. Usually when we go that light the car gets catchy and inconsistent.

Yeah, I thought 20,30, and 7 were the hot ticket? I am thinking of going with Primes next time.

I hope to run the Primes and change my diff oil to 20,30. and 7. I am on high traction clay.

mostly indoor clay at OCRC

I get the best lap times with the ET410 out of all my cars. Best on Positrons.

It’s soooo easy to drive fast.

Did the 20-30-7 make a lot of difference?
