Thanks for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated!
i had a 160T in mine for a couple packs. then read on ET410 facebook page that people were stripping them out. i went with the 155T and haven't had any issues.

The Protek 160T is rated for 216 oz-in which is really close to the min recommendation in the manual (200 oz-in), I think most folks are recommending 250 oz-in as a bare minimum. I'm currently running a 278 oz-in servo in mine without any issue for 10+ race days, I stripped my Savox 1258 (166 oz-in) on the very first battery pack, ha!

I have been running the protek 130t in mine without any issues. They are rated for 288oz-in @ 6v and 355oz-in @ 7.4v and just as fast as those mentioned above . It is a little powerhouse of a servo and cheaper than the other two you guys just mentioned.

It has a few bad reviews but I honestly think they were flukes or just people that like to complain in general when things don't go their way. I have several of them and they all have been performing greater me.

I use the Protek 170SBL with zero problems. I actually had a bad landing trying to clear a triple and landed on one front wheel; broke the ackerman bar but no damage to the servo.

A good cheap servo I've had success with is the EcoPower 120T. It has 337 oz-in of torque and .11 transit speed @ 6.0V, and 400 oz-in of torque and .09 transit speed @ 7.4V.
I've been using it with no issues in my ET for steering and my NB for throttle/brake duties.

I am using a Savox 2271 that has plenty of power and no issues at all. I was using this in an E buggy with Badland tires, so this is absolutely nothing in comparison.

Thanks for the recommendation, I really like that the cost of servo gear sets only being $13, I don't particularly care for the overpriced gear sets from most other brands on the market, plus it's really hard to find a decent budget servo that offers gear sets too!

I'm definitely going to try this servo. Thanks for the heads up on this!

Took the Et410 out for a full practice day and slowly dialing it in. The track is a high traction clay and was looking for other peoples set ups to compare to what I am doing. Also I am running a HW xr10 pro and 4pole 4300 kv, what esc settings, motor timings and gearing sre people running? It had amazing power but ran a little hotter than i liked.

i have the identical set up. I run a fan and the motor never gets over 110-115, even after a 10 minute run

I'm using the same ESC, but a Tekin Pro2 5100kV motor with an 18t pinion, temps around 115 after 10 minutes, no fan. The Pro2 timing isn't adjustable, but measured at 12 degrees on a motorlyzer. I did set the throttle rate to 20 instead of the default 30, but just to soften my heavy finger, no issues with temp at the 30 value. All other ESC settings are a their defaults.

I also run on high bite clay - see my post #625 for other setup changes from the stock setup.
