to be honest I never even looked at the price. I just liked that I could order the size I wanted vs the losi pack I had bought before that was just a misc bag (again maybe they sell them separate to but I never looked that close). Plus the blue matches lol.

Just checked again. The Losi package is the more costly per unit. So, my next ones will be blue. Thanks.

Only half the screws to mount the transmission and chassis brace line up with the B6 chassis. The 4 screws around the differential line up properly, but you'll have to drill new holes for the forward-most screws on the transmission in addition to new holes for the chassis brace.

I think he's referencing the new layback transmission that comes in the B6.1d.

You are correct. Already have the laydown transmission. Was hoping the layback would fit as I think it is between standup and laydown

Yep you are correct. Since it was the 6D thread I thought he meant the lay down. LOL. Although some say the layback can fit with modifications to the chassis, I personally would not try it.

It can be done. You must drill 4 holes, 2 of which are very close to existing holes. I did it but was unsatisfied with the result, so I bought a new chassis and pivot braces from the b6.1, so my conversion in now more 6.1 than 6.

I have a feeling I will make it into a 6.1 in time and sell B6 stuff

Depending on how used your current car is, you’d be better off selling it to buy a 6.1. I mean if your car has been a shelf queen and it’s pristine, you may consider the chassis, transmission case, top shaft, shock tower, c block and pivot mount. It does add up fast to the same price as a new car though.

Please make sure to price it all out, a real update to 6.1 is at least $150. I’d hate to see you regret it later.

It won't cost me anything remotely close to that to do it right.
