to be honest I never even looked at the price. I just liked that I could order the size I wanted vs the losi pack I had bought before that was just a misc bag (again maybe they sell them separate to but I never looked that close). Plus the blue matches lol.

Only half the screws to mount the transmission and chassis brace line up with the B6 chassis. The 4 screws around the differential line up properly, but you'll have to drill new holes for the forward-most screws on the transmission in addition to new holes for the chassis brace.

It can be done. You must drill 4 holes, 2 of which are very close to existing holes. I did it but was unsatisfied with the result, so I bought a new chassis and pivot braces from the b6.1, so my conversion in now more 6.1 than 6.

Depending on how used your current car is, you’d be better off selling it to buy a 6.1. I mean if your car has been a shelf queen and it’s pristine, you may consider the chassis, transmission case, top shaft, shock tower, c block and pivot mount. It does add up fast to the same price as a new car though.
