Standard touring car setup. Everything is compatible.

I think you got it wet somehow, or wiring. These are very good rx's. The only problem I had was when I caked it in mud, that was bad. But I kept blowing the mud and water out and it came back to life.

Take it apart and look closely inside for anything unusual.

I'll have a look inside jc3.
it had issues from brand new, not a chance it's ever gotten wet since I've had it. Wires were all done by a RC shop.

Could just be a bad receiver. Maybe the internal antenna is bad or disconnected. Does anyone at your track have a spare you can try?

I have a spare that I've tried. Went out today with 2 cars, 2 recievers and could not drive out of a 15m radius without losing signal. All I can think now is my transmittter.

seems likely. If you want to confirm need to ty another transmitter with your car/receiver. Make sure your transmitter doesn’t have a low power option. I think some countries (France maybe?) limit the transmitter power. If you have a low power model you may be stuck with the big antenna.

I've not heard of low power option. Got a friend sending me his transmitter to test.

In Europe for DSSS systems there is a law that it may not transmit with more than 10mW power while in the US it is 100mW. I believe with FHSS it is on both continents 100mW
