Has there been any mention if these buggies will hit shelves in March?

Good luck to everyone getting pre-orders in
Dang, Someone should suggest this to Scott at TRCR. I like it!

On Subject, I'm not going to just purchase the new car. I rather like my B6d. Going to let others put it on the track and see. I know if I get one, I'll probably be making a #T6.1D.

Am I the only one who's most excited about the machined pistons and oiled (instead of greased) bearings?

A hole so deep, AE went to Horizon for distribution.

A few pages back, I was critical of AE for losing their way and producing kits that were too far from what the majority ran. After reading about this, I am satisfied that they have corrected this completely. Instead of upgrading my b6d, I'll sell it and get the new one. Nice job, AE.

Now wondering when the ball diff option will be available for the B6.1?

And will there be optional "hard arms"?

Any details on V2 springs?

Ball diff and gear diff are interchangeable between the 6.1 and 6.1D.

That makes sense. However, my issue is that the 6.1 kit will come standand with a gear diff; and, I will need the optional ball diff for my track conditions.

So wait... why wouldn't you just buy the B6.1D which comes standard with the ball diff? Or perhaps you're saying that you want the ability to switch back and forth between gear and ball...?

they did that so it's easy to change spur gears .

those guys running 17.5 shouldnt worry about the spring interfering with the fan mounting on the chassis as the slipper eliminator shafts will undoubtedly be short and barely stick out of the gearbox as theres no need for a spring. itll be just like an "old" b6 gearbox

When did amain start taking pre orders? I been searching by the part # since AE put it on facebook. Just pre ordered one, but still not showing up searching by part number or by typing rc10b6.1 out!

I have a big rug race March 31st, I was going to order both, but the quickest I can get the carpet car is April 3rd. I am done with carpet to the fall after march 31st so might as well wait till fall on the carpet version.

It may just take a little more ingenuity, or a new mount.
I wonder if this mount clears the rear brace on top of the motor on a standup B6D?
