Did you read the instructions it came with? You use 1 flat washer, xring, thick bushing, xring, hat bushing. In that order for each shock.

Default What oil to run?

What diff oil would you start with? The track is high traction and very bumpy. Everyone is running a schumacher kc with 10k to 12k oil. should i be running similar oil in my B6? 2 or 4 spider gears?

4000/4gears. Changing to 5000 with 2 gears gives more rotation and free the
back up under power. Schumacher diffs react quite different to fluid weight
than an AE diff so its not really transferable.

Is there any reason to believe Associated will come out with a B6.1 before the end of this year?

I have tried stock 4K then 2 gears (too much rotation for me and less stable) then was advise to thicken the diff. Now 7k and will try 10k.
Seems more stable and consistent but we run mod on very bumpy astro with a low ride height.
I'm guessing the higher the oil the less diff out so the car is more stable at speed on bumpy section

Vegas odd makers have it at 5:8 j/k!

I thought they were going to release a b5.1m but they ended up doing a b6/b6d. So who knows what they will do!

Got mine all built and have not ran it yet but not real impressed with the battery hold down, I have tried 2 different batteries and adjusted the studs like they say and neither leave enough on top to engage the nylon in the lock nuts and it seems the stud does not screw into the chassis as much as I feel safe with, and I like the quick release no tools required to take battery in and out. Does anyone make a better system or have another idea on how to improve this? It really is the only area I seen in the build that to me at least is questionable and should have been done differently.

What about this? I believe Exotek makes one too.

I've tried a ball diff on a bumpy high grip Astro track...
It felt a little more forgiving and consistent.

It's not an issue. The nuts that come with the team kit don't have nylon in them. I've never even had one loosen at all and I don't crank them down, just snug.

Thanks to everyone. Think ill start with 5k 2 gear and then try 7k 2gear as i see that the most common is 5k 2 gear. We have an small carpet indoor track where 10k is good for schumachers but seems too slow for my b6. I dont want to be rebuilding diffs everytime
