Questions?? Steering Turnbuckle Upgrade

I found this on facebook from Gary M Jr. Here is his upgrade and I wonder if it's worth the $40 in parts?

Protek 5x105mm titanium turnbuckles
Losi 5mm "moly" rod ends TLR344015
Losi 8.8mm ball ends LOSA6049

"The ball ends are 8+mm (3mm bigger over stock), and these rod ends are bigger than the Tekno 5mm rod ends (which are beefy) and of course the titanium turnbuckles are at least 1mm thicker and probably twice as strong (If not more) and 1mm longer than stock . For the guys worried about the weight, these are noticeably lighter than the stock ones.

I tinkered around with the 5mm Tekno rod ends and could not get them to work because of the length.(too long) This setup will give you exact measurements to the stock ones. And by the way it looks/feels much, much more durable. The measurements are exactly the same 72.60mm in between the rod ends."

Damn shaft envy...

Not much room between the brace and driveshaft.
All the new upgrades look awesome overkill!

Can you install that brace without removing the tray?

Yup. I took the battery tray off to get a good picture. You do have to remove the center diff and center shaft to install the brace.

Someone told me they just removed the front/center brace only and then installed the M2C

Maybe you could force it in there that way. But it only takes a minute to pop the center diff out ...then it’s mucch easier

Those look great vettehigh! I haven't had any issues with the turnbuckles or rod ends on the Tekno.

I have a video with the MT410 and the Traxxas paddle tires bashing in the snow.

How do you embed the video here? I thought it was everything after the "v=" copy and pasted between the youtubes...?

Hey guys im looking into getting a 1680kv motor for the mt410. What gearing would i need to run to be equivalent to a 2000-2200kv 15t set up speed wise?

Questions?? Upgraded hinge pins

Was told that the hinge pins (TKR5020) on the MT410 were replaced with new stronger hinge pins with black ends. Any truth to that? Who has had issues with the stock hinge pins? Was thinking of upgrading to M2C hinge pins and delrin bushings.

4600 THE CAR FRONT INNER HINGE PINS

m2c6730 TEKNO "0" CENTERLINE DELRIN BUSHING 4 pcs per pk.

Disregard the "they will not work with stock", they will
