I just received my UDR from amain with orange fox body.

in the pictures, the orange looks like really close to the grabber orange on the old mustang, but in person it looks like fluorescent orange. is this color new, or was it alway really bright

Mine is just about 2 years old now , the orange is fluorescent , so I don't think it's been changed . Couple quick upgrades you should do is metal hexes , and take apart the rear and make sure enough grease is on the ring gear , and seal up the housing cause sand / dirt will get into it easy !! You're gonna love the truck ! I have both the UDR and Mojave , and while the Mojave is awesome in handling / speed / durability , the UDR still nails it in the scale looks / driving department !!

ty. i bought the metal hexes already. i bought them when i ordered the truck. I also ordered a 3d printed ic5 battery adapter mount. all of my setup is ec5, and i dont want to buy traxxas batteries. i was able to get an adapter to fit but its really bending the wires, which i dont want to do

what is the wheel nut sizes? I want to buy a real nut driver instead of using the multi-tool.

Anyone have recommendations for what springs to go to when running 6s? Rear end is a little saggy/draggy. Was thinking of going to the 8442 (1.042 -> 1.146) in the rear and then 8443 in the front as well (0.833 -> 0.937). Open to suggestions on oils as well.

Default Sand in rear diff

So can anyone confirm if sealing the rear diff case actually keeps sand out? I’m about to receive mine soon and before I run it I’d like to address this issue. Please. Thanks.

Sealing it will help....but it won't keep all the dirt out.....
