Ball diff is generally the best on anything but super-high grip carpet because they don't bind under load. It's interesting that ball diffs are all but gone in 4wd, though.

Anybody know if TLR's gear diff fits in the B6? I would think the planetary gear design would be more free under load and fluid tuneability could be pretty useful on dirt.

Maybe...but at the same time, due to the design, they use weights in the 30-60K range. There really isn't a lot of tunability from a weight perspective compared to a normal design where we can use 3,4,5,7,10,15,20 etc...

Does anyone know the weight of the Revolution Design Aluminium bulkhead? Is it the same as the 10g Factory Team bulkhead?

I gave up on the front wings too. they don't last even though I don't crash often (or try not too) but they just seem so weak

I run the jconcept one that mounts behind the front shock tower, between the tower and where the shock attaches. I’ve had much more luck with it there. I put shoe goo on the corners and the wings will last a few months at a time before they completely fall apart

Hey fellow members. Just getting back into rc. I picked up a B6D. Question:
I installed the lay down conversion and now noticing that everyone is run the shocks on the front side of the shock towers in the rear of the buggy. I currently have them in the back but want to switch them to the front, can I do this with the stock tower or do I need to get a different tower? Excuse my ignorance and any advice and/or information is greatly appreciated.

Stock tower. Remove the tower from the back of the gearbox and attach it to the front side, then remove top shock mounts and put them on facing forward.

Default Upgrade for my son

My son was running his T4 in the beginner class for a bit, but quickly outgrew that & had to bump up a class. Problem is there’s no intermediate stadium truck class at our local track, so he gets stomped in pro open ST (as well as gets in the way of the more serious racers) & was getting pretty bummed about it.
We do have an intermediate buggy class, so I’ve been thinking of getting him a B6 so we could share parts as that is what I run.
Now that I’ve been shopping around, I see the club racer available that seems like it would be perfect for him, but I have a couple questions before I pull the trigger?
How is it on high traction carpet & how many parts are compatable with the actual B6? Thanks in advance
