Those do look interesting... I assume they would act similar to a one sided taper piston, depending on which way the taper faces (typically down to allow quicker rebound) but adjustable !
VRPs are more effective than taper ones. I have 3x1.4 vrps to test. Will try them next weekend. Our track is high traction bumpy astro, i tried flat 3x1.4 all around on friends b6 and really like how it goes over bumps. Will see if theres much difference with vrps.

I think the Exotek is better because it comes with the spur gear cover. Motor plates are all the same in thickness.

My bad meant for Jconcept 1 pc with cover built in, They have 2 kinds. Just picked up exotek one. Better than scratched body and gear lol.

Simple question requires simple answers 😂

I've decided to run 13.5 stock instead of modified for a local winter series and Jesus is it slow! It's a spec motor for everyone so what stuff/mods would be required to make the car faster. What do you guys run running stock do?

Cheers

Default Exotec 33g c block

Anybody try the 33g exotek c-block ?

https://www.amainhobbies.com/exotek-racing-b6-b6d-brass-c-arm-mount-weight-black-exo1722/p581330

Is it a direct fit or does it need convincing?

I have the Exotek block. It fits great and no problems. It seems to calm the rear end down.

Is it Blinky stock, or open 13.5? If it’s open I would use boost as well as turbo. Also depends on what motor they have “spec’d” for where your racing. Mainly turn up the end bell timing to 45-50* depending on what brand an make of the motor. I usually start around 45* and check temps an get the gear sorted out. Once figured in Blinky mode I’d gear down a tooth or two on the pinion and use boost to get the punch and some turbo for the top end. Always keep a check on temps as they can rise quite quickly when adding external timing with high endbell timing as well. Also lightweight upgrades to get you to the minimum weight if your not already ther or close to it.
