Lands better on flat landings. None of that bounce.

Hoping someone can help me with ride height problems. Using the B6D kit setup (0/3 up, 0 axle height, 10mm ball stud with 3x 1mm of washers in hole B) for the stock rear hubs and stock 65mm bones and stock axles, I had no problem reaching 22mm ride height in the rear, even with white springs.

I just now installed the AE B6 aluminum hubs along with Schelle 67mm bones and Schelle 67mm conversion axles. Going by AE's instructions, I kept the 0/3 up insert for 0 axle height and used 8mm ball studs with 3x 1mm washers in hole C.

But now.. I can't even get to 24mm in the rear. I flipped the insert to 0/3 down for +3 axle height, and added an extra 1mm of washers to the ball studs, but I'm barely able to reach 22mm in the rear now if even that low, even with the shock collars all the way up. Is this normal or could I have screwed something up..?

Can this buggy handle 3S or is it strictly 7.4V?

Define, "handle".

This is a racing kit, not a basher. With 2s you can run hot enough modified motors to render the car nearly undrivable. What do you want to accomplish with 3s?

Plus I don't know of a 3s pack that would even fit in the car.

I only have experience with bigger cars and the combo I ordered supports 3S so just asking.
It's the Justock 10.5T (24t/78t gearing?) but I'm not too sure if it's suitable for a newbie in this class.

Yesterday I went to local indoor tracks for the first time and tomorrow I will be picking up a B6D kit.

Default YZ-2 ball diff for B6

Hi guys, hope tou can help.
I thought I read articles about using a B6 diff in the YZ2 when I used to run Yokomos. Is this true and can it work the other way around? (yokomo diff in the B6)

It's the Justock 10.5T (24t/78t gearing?) but I'm not too sure if it's suitable for a newbie in this class.

I'd stay with the 2s. A 10.5 motor will be plenty fast. Compared to larger scales, you'll find that this smaller car does everything (turn, accelerate) *instantly*. I don't think you'll want it to be any faster for a while.

How does changing to B64 arms accomplish that? Are the shock mount positions different?

I have a feeling it will be quite a little rocket.

10.5t is pretty quick for a newbie. Get a cheap 17.5 first.

OR yokomo gear diff in B6? The B6 gear diff has been on backorder forever....

10.5 is what the newbies use at my local turf track. I could see it being a bit much for low grip thought
