2017 Santa’s Helpers GP projected time schedule
Based on the entrys we already have, heres what time will permit for Saturday practice and qualifying. This projection includes warmup and drivers exchange off the stand (approx. 4 minutes)
1/10 Nitro Sedan – 2 heats x 4min + 4 x 2 min warmup / drivers exchange on stand = 16 min.
1/10 Electric Modified Sedan – 1 heat x 5 min + 4 min warmup / drivers exchange on stand = 9 min.
1/5 R/C Superbike – 1 heat x 5 min + 4 min warmup / drivers exchange on stand = 9 min.
1/8 Open Expert – 2 heats x 4 min + 4 min warmup / drivers exchange on stand = 16 min.
1/8 Open Sportsman – 1 heat x 4 min + 4 min warmup / drivers exchange on stand = 8 min.
1/8 Open Masters – 2 heats x 4 min + 4 min warmup / drivers exchange on stand = 16 min.
1/5 STC – 2 heats x 5 min + 4 min warmup / drivers exchange on stand = 18 min.
Time for each round = 1hour, 32 minutes
2 rounds = 3 hours, 4 minutes
3 rounds = 4 hours, 36 minutes
If we have practice from 8:00am till 11:00am, quals should be done by 3:35pm. This also gives us a little wiggle room and daylight in case of extra entry’s / heat(s).

We will be at the transit center this Saturday 1/13/18 at 9 am for track maintenance. The track will be setup for practice on Sunday and will be up until 4pm.
If you are available to help on Saturday for 4 hours or more, your Sunday $20.00 practice fee will be waived.

Attached is the revised (Rev A) GLARCRC schedule for 2018. Changes were made to remove conflicts with Steel City Speedway (SCS). The SCS dates are shown in blue and indented so you can see the combined schedule in one view. The Chargers 2018 schedule is still not released so changes could be necessary in the fall.

And Thank You Greg Shum, Al Lopez, Steve Kitahata, Glen and Dave Starks for staying on Sunday evening to help tear down and load up. Would have sucked without your help.

GLA will be coming to the transit center next weekend to finish track maintenance (painting, clean up, ect.) and will set up for practice for Sunday. Time permitting, we will set up the computer too.
If you are free and can lend a hand it will be much appreciated.
All scales welcome.
