I was trying a light coat of mirror chrome followed by a purple backer to get a purple tinted chrome but I was impatient and tried spraying it at night outside in the cold. On top of that I dropped the body after spraying it and it got a bunch of cracks in it. The cold made the mirror chrome come out gray. After all that it came out interestingly cool.


At the very back I got a little bit of the tinted chrome look.

Working on a special new "motion paint" material. Should really mess with other racers.

Some really nice paint schemes in here. I've been air brushing for a few months now . I've done a couple SCT bodies with skulls and true fire. I tried to post pics but It says I don't have enough posts for pictures without telling me any specifics. Wanted to share but guess I'll have to just look.

Has anyone used LRP's Nitro Block as a final backing? How has it protected your paint work on lexan bodies?

You should be able to include links to Flickr or other photo storage location? Maybe not. I didn't know they had that requirement for new members. I guess its to make sure your not joining just to spam? Dunno.

Please try it and let us know how it works. I have been curios about that stuff also.

This is my 2nd paint job using Galactic Purple as the main paint and this time the color came out fantastic so I have to give it some love here Some rugged lines here and there but nothing major.
