Unfortunately no. In the past spring wasn't much of a issue since both the old touring car set and the touring car big bore sets are very good springs and we can easily achieve proper rotation from those.

Tamiya has never allowed other brand springs to be used during a TCS event

This may come off as extremely lazy. . .

I just picked up a TRF419 (original version, I believe) and without having to read through 3k or so posts, can you convert the 419 to a 419X? Or even the latest XR version?

No. 419 has different bulkheads. 419 motor mount can be used on the x that's about it

The 419x is completely different from the 419. It's more like a 420 instead of an x version. So unfortunately it would cost you almost as much to try to convert the original 419 to the 419x as it would to buy the kit...

What's the Part number for the TRF blue screws?

I need to replace some of mine on the bulkheads

53773 3x10mm Hex Head Screw - Countersunk Blue 5pcs
