So, any idea when the next round of aluminum shock caps are going to be available? It would seem USPS may have lost mine. My tracking says "Delivery status not updated" and nothing showed up at my casa yesterday.

That sucks... USPS has marked the status of my order as "OUT FOR DELIVERY" about an hour ago... looking forward to faster shock rebuilds

Did you order from A-main? I've had a few orders go out of state for some reason Once USPS get's it together and updates it's system you should have and idea where your package is. All my blunders have been postal related. You paint a body yet? I'm calling all paint companies and asking them not to sell to you in hopes of delaying you hitting the track

nah I ordered straight from Tekno. I should have just added them to my Amain order that day though lol.

man I swear I have the worst luck with parts when I build a new kit. That's why I bought extra plastic shock caps before the build, and sure enough I needed them But I'm painting my first body so I am the master of my first practice destiny hehe. Well, me and DHL who still has the Receiver box stuck in Germany And DRC is gonna paint me up one of those LFR A2 bodies but I imagine that'll be another week or two out That should be sweet though and well worth the wait.

Yeah i find it an odd choice as well. But maybe they have cutouts that they feel negate the need for a fan. But the side fan mount should be fine

I don't know if it was me, my fellow drivers at the track or just the quality of fans but I kept breaking fans on the side mount. 4 fans to be precise. I ended up buying the diggity design plate and mounting the fan on top. So, not too big of a fan of the side mounted fan.

I ordered from Tekno as well. Mine have not yet arrived either and tracking info has not updated further.
