I've only ran Dot Evo's (soft) so far and they've been great on wet loamy conditions as well as when the track starts to dry out. I'm going to try Defenders and Waspers this week for a different track with wet to blue groove conditions.

Defenders and Waspers are both great on blue groove tracks. I find the Wasper to work great in qualifiers but the smaller height pins don't last as long in a main. The defenders work better in mains for me due to the taller pins, they last longer. I'm not saying either tire is better than the other though. They're both excellent tires on hard packed grooved tracks

So my tires just arrived today, the carcass is significantly different between each design where the Defenders offer more support (and weigh about 5g more per tire) suggesting they might not have as much tendency to balloon under hard acceleration (if I had to guess). It will be interesting to see how each wear when compared to my trusty DOT EVO tires... all are SOFT compound... maybe when temps drop this winter I might try SUPER SOFT but we're still in the high 80's to low 90's out here in Texas.

Comparing Wasper vs Defender (both soft) I found that the Wasper caused my car to traction roll... they had wet the track between each round and it was a tacky clay feel, almost like running on indoor clay but with a little fluff outside the line. Although my fastest lap time was about 0.5 sec slower with the Defender my consistency was a lot better in the second qual so I kept them on for the 3rd qual and A1 main... only problem was that my tires became unglued during the A1 main... I'm thinking that I may have had a bad batch of glue so I ran the Dot Evo's for the A2 main (which the track dried up and it got a bit loose) and the Dot Evo's turned the same fast lap at the Wasper's but offered the same lap consistency as the Defenders. Next time I'll try the Wasper's in dry conditions to see how they feel... it's really nice to see how each tire compliments themselves where the Defenders showed hardly any signs of wear after roughly 30min of combined track time.

nice, I'll definitely add those to my cart on my next order!
we had a big race in my area this past weekend and I really liked the Wasper's when the track was ran dry (slight blue groove), I out qualified another local driver who normally goes a little faster than me and he was running Buckshots, I honestly felt that the Wasper's helped give me a little edge on the competition
