Yes, that servo is meant for 1S use (without booster) only. For 2S, Sanwa has the SRG-HR servo.

I run a roche p12 16. I drilled a small hole in the knucle and put a set screw in there. I got tired ofhaving to replace knuckles once they slopped out. Havent had any issues since. Just have to make double sure all you pivot balls and arms are nice and free.

Not really. These are the only two servos I know of and one is for 1S only, the other for 2S. But the BEC-voltage depends more on the ESC you use, than on the battery alone. Most modern 1S ESC have internal boosters, giving them a BEC voltage of at least 6V, even on a 1S battery.

i have a futaba S9602 servo still NIB, last time i ran servos like this, the class was 4 cell MIMH. looking at specs it's close to the current S9650 but not digital
will this servo work in today's 1S powered 1/12th, i have a MT4 controller, hobbywing 1S xr10 stock esc, and i have various 380/481/482 rec's?

I wouldn’t use an analog servo, Digital servos are more reliable and faster than analog servos.
Hi All,
What is the difference between putting shims at the top of the kingpin vs above the steering block (under the upper arm)? What is the effect of changing the angle of the upper arm? Is this a roll center adjustment?
Thanks in advance!
