Thanks to the guy that said fierce rc solutions was having a sale I got a MT410. I got a Tekno 15T pinion, Tekno aluminum servo horn, and Tekno mud guards. For the ESC and Motor I got the LRP ix8 and 2200 motor. Is the 15T gonna be good for 4s? I'm gonna wait on a body because I might already have one that fits. What servo should I get? I am thinking the savox 1230 but I would rather have one closer to $50. I already have a set of new Arrma nero tires for it. Can I have some help please with the rest of my stuff?

15T is perfect for the 4S... Servo (get a good one) = Hitec You will need to spend $75+ for a good one and have over 350oz. I spent $179 on my Hitec , but worth it

I should have took my GoPro with me to make a video but maybe tomorrow... but I Just took my mt410 to the skate park. Man I love this truck. Hands down the best MT on the market. Jumps and lands beautifully. I did bend the front bumper and the rear bumper bracket but I was able to bend them back into shape. I'm running a 17t pinion on 4s with the tekin 2000kv motor which is plenty fast. That motor is super torquey. Feels awesome. Backflips are actually too easy to do. The truck spins around too fast actually but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'm sure that is due to the DB Backflip tires since they are more rotating mass than the badlands I was going to get. Glad I decided on the backflips tho, they are a great tire

I just read a guys post on the tekno FB page that he keeps breaking gear diff (I'm assuming he meant the ring gear on the diff cup). He said it was from correcting in the air with throttle and brake. Made me wonder if I should turn the power (punch) setting on my rx8 gen3 down. I have it at 100% right now and I am running FB backflips which have some decent weight to them. Any suggestions on settings? Or am I good at 100%? It did occur to me that this guy just doesn't have his diffs built properly but figured I would ask. This is my first time running this truck and don't want to break stuff my second time out.

Most diff damage is caused by landing while "on" throttle. This truck is pretty bulletproof. Corrections in the air shouldn't do any damage to the diffs, just make sure you let off of the throttle when the truck is landing.

truth !

i broke a diff cup ( outdrive to CVD ) on my eb48 because of a harsh landing sideways...

I responded to that guy, basically the two most common ways to damage your diff is if your pinion coupler set screw comes loose or the pinion bearings go bad. Run it at 110%, these diffs can take anything with the proper assembly and maintenance.

THAT is what I thought. I've never had issues with any of my teknos... but... I wasn't running big MT tires on any of those either so I wanted to just make sure
