Thanks so much for the picture. surely not quite what I had envisioned in regards to the wheelie wheel mounting.

Any reason in particular that you mounted the bumper upside down?

The bumper mount is right but the actual bumper is upside down and backwards compared to the T-Bone website pics. Not that it matter all that much honestly.

Default MT410 racing...

I know many have seen this, but my point is that it's the best looking chassis on that track - he's racing E-buggy!

Dude is a good driver for sure, but it's the best handling rig out there. Man I wish we raced these things more often.

How difficult is it to put together? I've haven't built a kit yet, and only have 2 rc trucks. So pretty much a novice, I guess.
The mt410 was my first kit. Took around 6 hours to assemble. I am by no means an expert or even mechanically inclined. The instructions are so good that you might start to feel like an expert. Other than changing center diff fluid it has not broke down. All my Traxxas gear is getting dusty from no use. I am so happy the the MT410 I bought the Tekno EB48.3 buggy. Love that thing to. Although I would recommend big truggy tires on it for bashing.

How do I know when it's time to change the center diff fluid?

Default Diff fluid time to change.

You'll prolly notice your diffs slipping when going up hill. or under heavy throttle u may notice only one tire spinning lol. That's when I notice my fluid had thinned down to a point they needed to be changed. I went with a heavier fluid in center and it's made a huge difference in performance.

Gear differentials don't slip unless there is a mechanical problem such as broken teeth on the gears.

Losing fluid, or thinning fluid will cause the unloaded wheel, or the front, or rear to "diff out" or spin easier. It's like when the clutches wear out on a posi-trac axle on a full scale car, it starts to behave more like an open differential instead of driving the wheel that has lost traction.

Is there a mistake in the manual for the mt410? Step j-4 where you
Screw the front clip onto the chasis the very front 2 screws are called out as tkr1346 I think (they are 15mm lg). I just put one in and it punched thru the diff case and jammed up the outdrive. Freakin pissed. I use a mini electric driver to go 90% of the way then do the rest by hand but the damn screw punched thru with still a couple mm of length left to screw in. It seems that the hole in the diff case is 9mm deep and the chasis is 4mm thick so I think the screw should only be 12mm not 15. I checked my eb48.3 manual which has the same diff case and that screw in that manual is 12mm. I emailed tekno. I kinda feel like they should send me a new diff case.

I just got my MT410 today, got the rear end together. Thanks for the heads up on the manual, slapstick. I'll keep an eye out for it and report back when I get to that point.
