The cheaper 998s on ebay are 2016 cars, the 2017 is the one you want or wait for the upcoming td1r.
The current version of the car is very durable, with the exception of slightly quick wearing outdrives not much is needed for spares. I have yet to use any of my spares.
Granted they sponsor me so im going to have a postive bias but i will say I wanted to run the car before even applying for the team.
The kit doesnt come with wheels or servo horns and the throttle requires a low profile horn such as an mbx7 horn. .
Any idea when the 1R will be out?

I was going to mention that. Some people are selling their current car to get the new one. Also, I think the truggy will be release with the buggy... Soon... And to be 100% honest, while the only flaw I can say about the car is the outdrives wearing out quick (which it will be addressed with the new car) The driving compensates for that. Car drives great, lots of steering and very smooth. Also, it is a tough car...

The SOAR is legit...a true pleasure to drive. The stock setup felt light on diff fluid and shock oils. After I went up on the weights it was ridiculous. I'd wait for the TD1R though. It'll be available early October. I'm sure pre-orders will be available soon at www.dialedhobbies.com
