More diff fluid, less friction, less heat, And hold up well.

Adjusted timing to draw 6 amps. Geared 28/72. Was getting temps around 160 after 8 min or so. Only place I could figure out for a fan. Hope it lowers temps some. I only have 1 battery. Still it's only 1 screw to remove. But whatever.

Should i be running thicker diff fluid with 2 gears than with 4 gears?

Does anyone know if there is a separate part # for the plastic pieces that hold the rear sway bar onto the bulkhead? Got dead rearended and the pieces are cracked .. I can't find a part # would suck to have to buy a whole sway bar kit just for these pieces

What's the senses on the B6 Club Racer. Are the electronics good enough for a novice, outdoor hard pack track ?

The only thing I'd really want to change soon after is the servo. But for a novice I am sure it'd be great to start with.

Would like to get a bit more snap in my B6D for a dirt track (HOT ROD HOBBIES raceway). Thinking of trying out the MIP puck system. Would this help? Would like to hear from racing puck system owners.

And is this the current puck system(dont want to buy the old model)?

Adds some snap but also takes away rear bite.

I noticed mines not as snappy as many. Is 100c battery gonna give me that much more snap than a 65? I also wonder if there not in blinky. (Geared lower with added timing)

100c or more will help imo. I try to run no lower than 100c continuous discharge in my 17.5 buggies. I notice a bit of a drop in punch if I switch to lower discharge packs.

I don't like them. But that's my opinion.

I wouldn't run pucks in a lay down... it doesn't have enough weight over the rear to make use of the quicker acceleration, plus you'd be removing even more. Now in my standup? Fuggetaboutit. Pucks all the way.

Make sure your drivetrain is as free as possible. My first B6 came alive after about two months. Built a new one (the one with the pucks) and it felt like a dog. Realized that all the crap grease in the bearings of my first one had pretty much been used up, which really freed things up. So I took the seals off the new ones, soaked them in citrus degreaser, blew out the crap with a compressor, and applied Schelle's high grade thin oil. Now the second car is a beast, too.

+1 for cleaning grease out the stock bearings: It's the best bang for the buck in stock racing.
