On my MT I just clipped/drilled the stock posts & put in set screws. It's been working so far. I have the Proline posts on my ET, they are nice, as they eliminate the wobble the stock post have.

Ya I really like that bumper and the front bar style one.
So are the mt410 body mounts the same as the sct410? Wondering if these will work.

TowerHobbies.com | Pro-Line Extended Front/Rear Body Mounts SCT410

Or if I have to get these and modify the mt mounts by drilling into them.

They threw in the wheels for me, don't know if that's just for me and/or others too

Yes, the mounts are SCT410, all the MT410 parts are just pulled from the Tekno bin.

So you cut off the little nub and then drilled into the square post and screwed in the proline screws and used the caps? I did that on my ET also but I looked at my friends SCT410 posts since they are the same as the MT (because I don't have my MT kit yet... hopefully it will be here today) and the post is smaller so I wasn't sure if it had enough material to drill into and put the screw in. But if that's what you did I will probably try that.

Yes, & yes the post aren't that wide. I used 18mm set screws. I'm not sure how long they will hold. I just had a screw pull from my Proline post on my ET, so even the beefer post aren't perfect.

Exactly what parts are needed to convert the mt410 into An et48? I debated between the 2 but decided on the mt cause I already had an et48. But a track near by may be open for racing next summer and I'll probably want et48 when that happens. Would I just need the et chasis and the 2 et center drive shafts? Besides that everything else is straight off the et48 right?

I may be wrong, but I believe you need almost everything except shocks/towers, motor/battery mount and diffs (might even need shocks/towers to make it a full truggy conversion). I think it'd be better to go for the et48 arms on the MT410 and leave it at that

EDIT: I stand corrected. Looks like the arms are the same. And of course steering assembly and such.

All you need is the truggy chassis, center rear driveshaft, and rear chassis brace. The shock towers are different, the shocks have aluminum caps, the steering ackerman is different, but none of that is required.

The MT410 steering assembly is the new/improved .4 setup, the same as the EB48.4 .

Damn I forgot about the towers. U have the mt410 and the et48 and you bash both right? Which do you like better for bashing? I just got the mt kit today and I started putting it together but I'm still wondering if I should have got the truggy. I do that with everything. I always second guess myself. I know the mt is Gna be a blast but just wondering which you prefer. I think I'm just Gna sell my eb48.3 and get the truggy that way I'll have the mt and et.

I have the T-Bone tubular style front bumper on mine already, after checking out the new rear bumper, I HAD to have it, so it's on order. Very cool, and realistic appearing.

I'm painting up a Baja Bug body (I have several different bodies) and would have had to cut the engine detail portion of the body out using the stock rear bumper/support. The T-Bone bumpers are much flatter across bottom, I'm fairly confident this will fit with the full, intact body. Anybody with pictures of their MT with the new rear bumper?

I have 2 ET's and 1 EB. I like the truggy chassis, it handles high speeds better and is more stable.

That's the one. The site has no pictures of what it looks like with the wheelie bar and wheels attached. The wheelie bar, however, does have a different part number than the one that comes with the rear basher bumper.
