Not much help here but I have these installed in my shocks but still building mine. I figured they were a cheap upgrade and wouldn't require me to re-build the shocks should I want to upgrade later. I upgraded to the exact style that comes with the kit.

Yes, my PAD is installed and you want to make sure it's running 7.4V

I have 2 questions. Should I use the cartridges with the long bottom shaft guide or tkr6146B which has the shorter bottom piece for more shock travel (but it is less shaft support)?
Also what delrin shock piston size would be best? The option part specified in the manual Amain says is discontinued which looked to be 8x1.3. Anybody have a suggestion? 10x1.1 maybe? Or is that Gna be too much pack?
As far as what I would consider a very good shock upgrade, the metal cartridge caps are first on my list. I had a plastic one break very early on, which resulted in a lot of damage to that particular shock. Caused a bent shaft, broke the thin inset lip on the bottom of the shock body, and tweaked the piston.

I also got the Delrin cartridge set, and pistons, alloy spring adjusters and caps. Compared with the quality of the rest of the kit, I felt Tekno really did their model a disservice with the included shock parts. Not quite ready for prime time IMHO.

Though I'm still building mine, I did the exact same thing based on what I read. Basically did a full shock option minus shafts.

What are you thoughts on speed with this servo (HSB-9380TH)? It's a fantastic servo but seems a tiny bit on the slow side in comparison to some newer models coming out now.

Anyone have experiences with Protek 170SBL? Specs look outstanding - not sure on reliability though since I'm seeing both sides of the spectrum being reported.

It's one of the best out there. I spoke with Hitec directly and they told me the 9380TH is the best for the MT410

I have 3 Hitec servos, they're super durable.

Those are discontinued. The option part no. Specified in the manual is also discontinued. Not sure which ones to get. The newer ones they have out all seem to be lower number of holes that are a little bigger but I don't know which is to go with. Was thinking the 3x2.1 (10.4mm squared) or
10x1.1 maybe. Idk

I used TKR6051 and aren't discontinued as far as I understand (available on Tekno's website - though amain did not carry them). I got them from fiercercsolutions.com

Anybody have a pic of their mt410 with the backflip tires and body on it? Pretty sure I'm going with those but want to see them on the truck. I really want the badlands mx38's cause the t tread pattern looks badass. But I didn't want a super wide tire.
Also does anyone run the Silverado body? Debating between the Silverado and the 2017 raptor

Oh and I decided on the tekin combo. The 2000kv motor is the truggy sized motor correct? That's what would be best int this truck?

Finally have my truck running around my backyard. I got about ten minutes into some light jumping off an 18 inch jump tonight and the 4PLS started beeping at me. Ever since, I don't have brakes or reverse. I tried to recalibrate my ESC and it won't pass the third step, where you give it full brakes. No idea what could have happened. It's not wet out, there's no wires loose etc.

It has the Tekin gen3 1350kV truggy combo and the Futaba 4PLS.

Update: my thumb was resting on DT4 and I turned the ATL down to 0. Works great now that it's back up to 100 . Definitely a problem though that the DT4 switch is right there and so easy to move, that's a really, really comfortable place to hold my thumb. I mean, it's the part of the pistol grip where your thumb goes.

Hopefully I can deactivate that switch.

Update 2: You can definitely deactivate the DT3 and DT4 switches in the menu under SW/DIAL

I have the 9370, 9380, & 170SBL, the 9380 does feel slow compared to the others. The 9370 has plenty of power, the 170SBL is great, but the specs maybe a little over rated(as it doesn't feel much different than the 9370).

2000kv should be the truggy motor(77mm), the part #4038 TT2366 - 2000kV.
Tekin - T8 GEN2 1/8 Brushless Motors
