I just switched to the harder lower deck
so are the blue and white chassis's harder? Sorry, must have missed that ...I thought they were just alternate colors -didn't realize they were harder/stiffer? ...is this true?

I may have to pick one up if so.

Yes, they are stiffer and made of a harder plastic.

Here's the wiring on my son's TT02. Ready for the spec class at TCS!

Hello,

Thank you for all the response/s on my previous question/s...got another question:

Can we install a schottky diode on the "stock" motor (for the GT Novice/Spec class, TT-02/R) as we have always done previously (before brushless motors)?

Thanks! =)

Not a good idea.

I'll be using an old LRP Quantum Competiton 2 for my TT-02R on the upcoming TCS (GT Novice
/Spec). The ESC manual recommends using a schottky diode.

I just want to make sure that it is legal to solder a schottky diode to the motor for the TCS.

Thank you =)

Default Tamiya

Picked up a brand new LRP speedo still in the sealed box for dirt cheap on eBay.
Forgot how smooth a brushed setup could be.

Here's my finished TT02 with body.....

I am not sure if I am racing this body....it might end up a shelf queen/cul-de-sac cruiser so it doesn't get hammered

So... last night I built a TT02b MS. How much power can I expect those stock plastic gear diffs to survive? It's got a 13.5t brushless setup in it right now.

Pictures later... But it's a heck of a rig. :-)
