Building my kit now, rear sway bar is holding the arms from dropping to full extension without popping off the ball stud. It's holding the arms at level, is this normal or am I missing something obvious??

My dog bones are slightly down from level. There should not be any binding. I suspect once you build the shocks you will see the travel is limited by the shocks anyway.

Some things to check though. Make sure the sway bar moves freely in the center of the diff. Uncouple the ends to be sure. If too tight there you may have the end cap that holds the sway bar in place reversed or the set screws are too tight.

Mine was the same. I just lengthened the link by unscrewing it a couple turns.

You won't want this. It only works well on the b6 with the tall rear tower to match.

Yea my bones are just below level with no shocks on. I'm waiting to build the shocks till my Kashima bodies get here so I'm sure it will make more sense once they're on.

Only other hiccup so far has been the 4 extra 3x16 screws I have left. No clue where they belong. I went through the manual 3 times now and the only 3x16 I can find are the front shock lower mounting screws, and I have those with the shocks.

I did too. I threw them in the box and totally forgot about them till you just mentioned them.

I believe the extra screws are because the B and C blocks included screws in their package but were also included in the other hardware.

Default My build

I liked the little bag of extras in the B6 kit. Sad to see the B64 didn't have this too. Build went pretty well. I think the only change I had to make was the diff shims. Ended up with 0/7 like I saw in a preview video. 1/6 and 2/5 felt ok but definitely would say 7 total not 8. Will probably try the gearbox shim also to get the ride height.

Unscrew your rear sway bar eyelets 4 full turns. Directions are wrong, and this info is coming from AE team drivers.

any word on the C-version release of this car? i don't want to buy a D-version and go thru all the reverse engineering to put on a slipper, LRC blocks, etc etc.

Make sure you don't have one too many shims under it. If I misunderstood your question I apologize
