The towers are FRP. All you need are a set of TRF416, TB02, TA04 arms. They are all the same. Download the manual for the TT-02B MS and it shows all you need. You can also grab the tt02b ms hubs on the cheap
Should cost around 35 bucks with spacers and all.
Yes it is worth it. TT02 are a nice little budget chassis.

Thanks for the advice Metalsoft.
I've found the parts used by the TT02 Type S, I might go with them because then I can keep it GT Spec legal by using parts for the same platform. Having a blast with the car, this is my reintroduction to the hobby. The last kit I built before this was a TA02.....LOTS have changed!

Here is a short video to watch for you of the Tamiya Euro Cup race at my club in Bavaria. My friends and I started in the Stock class for the first time, that allows only some tuning parts like ball bearings, oil dampers and cvs in front. Everything else has to be as it came in the box (no TT-02s or r allowed).
We had a lot of fun and racing was very close. Unfortunately I unknowingly cheated with haveing tire inserts which isn't allowed. And because I realized it so late I had to get all 4 of my TQ-runs deleted. Still I was lucky that I could do two legal laps in the last qualifier otherwise I wouldn't have been allowed to race in the finals. So I started last in the B-final and was quicker than in all my qualifiers with inserts. I could win all B-finals, ran the fastest lap of the class and most laps. Man, I am still mad at me for forgetting the inserts in the tires
Other than my stupidity it was a very fun weekend with close racing, beautiful cars and good friends. This class is so nice. It got a low price tag and still provides thrill

Yes, the tires that came in the box are mandatory in the Euro Cup (50454). The insert was the cheapest uncompetitive Tamiya has (53113). We mainly race these cars on parking lots and there the tire dies in one day without insert.

I've noticed the same issue without insert. It does seem to calm the car down but without insert the tire deforms a lot after just one race day. This makes tire cost quite high for a tire with very low traction.

Hey all.Been looking at the TT02 chassis for sometime now.Sold a few things off on eBay this past week.I ended up ordering the 02R.No intentions of ever racing.
Just going to rip up and down the driveway. Was hoping to receive it for a weekend build session.I did receive my Protoform Cadillac body.Painted it last night. As Bruce Springsteen says "Pank Cadillac".

hello!
can someone give me a starting Setup for carpet and outdoor? TT02S
at the Weekend am struggling with my car at the Tamiya Eurocup (black ETS carpet).
At the begining everything seams fine but then the Desaster started.

I've only run on black ETS carpet once with my TypeS but spec was kit shock positions, TRF (42102) shocks with 3 hole pistons and 40wt front and rear, AW grease in front diff, blue (hard) front springs, yellow (medium) rear, 3 degree rear toe in, droop stops fitted but no droop screws in the arms, no toe-out on the front (just parallel) and a glued up servo arm. Car was dialled every run. Couldn't fault it, just used less tyre sauce as the grip came up. When did yours go bad? As the carpet rubbered in?
