+1 for axon, Gizmo racing sells them.

hi, i saw your message on the xray forum.

i drove T4`15 and switched to `17.
the motormount is a big difference, also the standard graphite arms, lower spurmount is a big plus.

i like the centered floating servomount aswell.

also a car like T4`14 will have a lot of slop when you drive frequently.

if you care RC racing, you have to buy it.

I run ARC gears, they are thin for low drag and great quality

This exactly. not like the newer cars shave a couple of tenths off each lap, but they are easier to drive fast, more consistent, etc...

I had a 14 but then went to yokomo, then to vbc, then back to yokomo, then a '17 so I can't tell you about the difference for sure... but if you're serious about racing, the '17 will get you there. As much as there's been a few misses in xray's lineup (T2 '007 anyone...), overall they've consistently improved their cars the past decade or so.

Frankly, that '17 pretty much drives itself... I threw mine on the track freshly built bone stock (or close to) and did my best racing results since years... truly one cracker of a car and one that can be driven by anyone (the yokomo bd7 sure wasn't)

Hey guys,

Good to meet some of you at Snowbirds, sorry if I did not catch up with everyone. It as really cool to see so many with Xray cars putting in good runs over the week, great job! Below is a link to my setup that I ran there. Car was really good, driver was just okay. Might get up to ROAR Nats in New Rochelle, NY in a few weeks. Hope to see everyone there.

looks like the team guys, Bruno, Hagberg only run it on big , fast flowing tracks like Hudy arena.

Most people I've seen run the standard rear setup

I put it on my car partly because my rear toe is off on the right side of my car by .5 or so deg. I like the way it makes the car drive with it on there on the black carpet. I ran it on asphalt on a big flowing track and wasnt a big fan of it there.
