Let's place our bets guys lol lol what do u think they're going to change ? Minor or major ? Place ur bets guys ?

Set 08-16-2016 06:52 PM

going with minor, maybe just a new rear diff case

I'm hoping eventually Xray goes and make a unconventional designed car and sets itself apart from some other manufacturers . It seems lately that the conventional cars are being hammered and something needs to be done to address the imbalance .

JEFFs SC10 08-16-2016 07:06 PM

wonder what the changes will be.

I predict the T4'17 will actually just be a T4'16 in a new box with a picture of Bruno holding his world championship trophy on it.

Probably not gonna happen, it seems like only Tamiya left doing something new in their TA series, the rest (t4 bd7 trf etc) are practically samey with minor tidbits here and there

Conventional isn't really a bad thing. The current car is durable, fast and most people feel comfortable with them because they understand them. Also, there are parts everywhere for them with this current design so as long as the car is competitive and selling well I doubt there will be radical changes.

I've been driving Xray's for the last few years and in most cases I can't complain about them. I'm really tempted to try something different but I'm worried about the setup, spare parts, durability, etc. that I don't have to worry about much with Xray's current platform.

Minor... betting new motor/layshaft mounts slightly lowered, and new servo mount.

Maybe a double spec kit release? Carpet (with alloy chassis etc) and asphalt editions?
