Obviously the transverse pack being changed to inline in the case of the stock wars setup is different, as well as no glue. I have not heard why they ran inline. It would be cool to hear what the process was in setting up the car for that race. This bucks the trend of the last few years (transverse batteries) since the only cars running in line as a default are Tamiya and Serpent if im correctly recalling it.

Rob, come by Windy City Raceway and be intrigued by my Roche :P

Yes that is what countless time test and race track endurance comparisons have demonstrated.

The 102 thread debated its merits a couple of weeks ago, even the possability that its only for certain markets.

Looks fantastic jpx!! What decals are those? Or did you make the Rothmans stickers?

Definitely post when finished.

Thanks guys!!!
It will take some time to finish the helmet as I'm still missing some stickers etc. but I'll post some more pictures when finished and before racing

I got the decals from manis-rcshop.at (I'm from germany and so it was easy to be shiped from there) - just search for "fw16" and you should find 2 decal sheets.
I think originaly they come from the-border.com but I couldn't find both sheets there. They have a lot of other F1 decals - if you might be searching for something else!
Hope this helps!

I SO love the FW18. That looks beautiful. I wish I could get that shell and for my F104. But I've not found the wings and am not sure what it would look like on the narrower chassis.

Great work.

Thanks, I have to give credit to my head designer/builder Gus
BTW the front wing wont allow the F104 tires to turn so don't by one for that chassis even if one comes up on e-bay etc.
